Carrying out maintenance on DHC-2 Amphibian
Our workshop is approved for Class A and Class B maintenance and our staff has licence coverage in airframe, engine, instrument, electrical and radio categories. We can therefore carry out maintenance to the simplest single engine aircraft through to turbine powered RPT aircraft.
The team at North West Aviation Pty Ltd has a vast range of experience when it comes to carrying out special and more complex maintenance needs, like rebuilds, major repairs and modifications, engine and tailwheel conversions.
We not only have the expertise and licence
coverage to carry out maintenance to your aircraft but also have a large range of specialised tooling and equipment to allow this work to be carried out.

Periodic Inspection Cessna 310R
Hose and Control Cable Manufacture
North West Aviation Pty Ltd has manufactured flight control
cables and flexible hose assemblies for many years. This has especially benefited owners
of agricultural, charter and flying school aircraft whose
downtime is kept to a minimum when cable replacement or flexible hose replacement is
required during the course of mainenance.
Carrying out maintenance on SA226 Metro ll
Engine Conversions
North West Aviation Pty Ltd is experienced in carrying out
engine conversions IAW approved STC's. Conversions have been
carried out to a wide variety of aircraft.
Removal of Lycoming 0-320 engine from a PA-18 Super
Cub
prior to the installation of a Lycoming 0-360 engine.
Instrument Panel Modifications/Upgrades
North West Aviation Pty Ltd has carried out many instrument panel upgrades IAW approved drawings and data.
