Paul Mitrega gained an Aircraft Weight Authority in 1997.

North West Aviation Pty Ltd subsequently purchased weighing equipment allowing aircraft to be weighed and appropriate weight and balance packages to be produced. This is beneficial to customers who have modifications carried out to their aircraft by North West Aviation Pty Ltd.

North West Aviation Pty Ltd also carries out aircraft weighing for home builders, private owners and commercial operators.
